Movie Review – 102 Not Out

102 Not Out is a sheer example of short classic movie and proves that entertainment does not require item songs, cheesy dialogues, exotic locations or complex storyline.
102 Not Out is Hindi Comedy Drama film directed by Umesh Shukla and is based on a Gujarati play. The film highlights an unusual relationship between a 75-year-old son (Rishi Kapoor) and his 102-year-old father (Amitabh Bachchan), who aspires to break the record for the longest living man, held by a Chinese man. The movie showcases the wonderful bond between father and son duo, in spite of being poles apart. Up to some extent it depicts the present situation in every family.
To begin with, 102 Not Out has humour, satire, emotions and the legendary actors. What I really liked about this 1 hour 41 minutes film is, it is intriguing! The epic conversations between father and son are so captivating and entertaining, the dialogues are thoughtful and to the point, editing is mind blowing moreover hats off to the screenplay, wonderfully tailored for today’s generation.
This movie is for everyone, go and watch it with your parents, children and friends.
“Jinda Ho Jab Tak, Marna Nahi” I just loved this line by Amitabh Bachchan in the film. Overall a very different movie and worth watching. Inspiration and goosebumps guaranteed!

Undoubtedly, this is one of my recent favourites!
That scene where Mr. Bachchan describes how Mr. Kapoor’s son has ignored him all the years and even failed to visit his ailing mother in deathbed, is classic!!
