The situation of Kerala is not unknown to the nation. Although the rain water seems subsiding gradually, all those people who went homeless and are in need of shelter, remains shattered due to nature’s unpredictable outbreak. Due to the after-flood residues and nerve-racking events, Kerala have fallen under one of the most massive flood prone area this year that have left thousands of people displaced from their houses, hundreds have been killed while many got injured and require immediate care.
According to the latest reports, a proposition letter has been sent to our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release Rs 2000 crores for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the state. Army once again proved their bravery in the hearts of the state by rescuing more than 43,000 citizens. More than 1,20,000 people have been sent to rescue camps and provided with food and shelter.
Citizens from all around the country are pouring in to provide with some aid to support Kerala victims at the time of severe destruction. Besides, many Bollywood celebrities have also stepped forward by donating lump-sum amounts for Kerala relief fund.
Famous actor who played MS Dhoni’s character in his biopic movie, Sushant Singh Rajput joined Bandwagon today and donated Rs 1 crores to Kerala flood victims. However, he did not make this attempt by himself and was requested by one of his fans to donate for his friends and family over there.
The fan himself is not able to donate such a big amount due to his financial condition, and thus asked Sushant to make donation on his behalf. Instead, the actor made entire donation from his account and shared a post in Instagram, “As promised my friend, @subhamranjan66, what you wanted to do has been done. You made me do this, so be extremely proud of yourself. You delivered exactly when it was needed. Lots and lots of love. (sic)”
In last few days, many film stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have been witnessed making donations and necessary contributions for the Kerala relief. But, making a huge donation of Rs 1 crores is remarkable!
