Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 starts receiving Android 8.0 Oreo in US

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung started rolling out the Android Oreo update for the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet. The new software update brings Android 8.0 Oreo. Now the Galaxy Tab S3 starts receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update in the US. The size of the software update is 1.23 GB and comes with all Oreo features. It will available for download in coming days.
Few users of the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet already received Android 8.0 Oreo update and shared more details about the update. The update only brings Android 8.0 Oreo but also some new features and improvements.

The update comes with Samsung Experience 9.0, improvements to biometrics, Samsung Keyboard, lock screen, home screen, quick panel, Smart View, Find My Mobile, Samsung Cloud, system performance and Samsung account.

The new software update also comes with May or June security patch. If you have Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet and haven’t received the update, you can also check update manually. To  do this, go to setting > about > Software update > check for update. Or you can simply wait for few more days for the OTA notification.
