Today, Qualcomm unveiled its first chipset of new 700 series mobile chipset platform, called Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The new 710 chipset is the successor of the Snapdragon 660 which used in upper-mid-range smartphone y the many companies. The new chipset is a 10nm chipset and includes a multi-core AI engine and neural network processing. It offers twice better AI performance compare to its predecessor. It also brings some flagship features from Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The SD 710 SoC comes with two core of Kryo 360 Cortex A75 which clocks at 2.2GHz and six core of Kryo 360 Cortex A55 which clocks at 1.7 GHz. It coupled with Adreno 616 GPU and offers 35% better performance than the Snapdragon 660.
The new upper mid-range chipset comes with Hexagon Digital Signal Processor (DSP) 685 which previously available in Snapdragon 845 chipset. The Snapdragon 710 10nm chipset also comes with Spectra 250 ISP onboard. It will deliver better performance in low-light conditions, image stabilization, artificial bokeh, faster autofocus and better depth sensing. It also supports a single camera up to 32-megapixel and dual camera up to 20-megapixel ISP. The new chipset also offers more accurate and more faster facial recognition. It will consume less battery power to record 4K videos and slow-motion videos.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10nm SoC comes with X15 LTE modem that offers up to 800 Mbps downloading speed. The SD 710 SOC chipset powered smartphone will support 4K HDR playback and consumes up to 40% less power than its predecessor. It comes with 4×4 MIMO which offers you up to 70% faster downloading speed in the weaker signal areas. The company said it comes with License-Assisted Access (LAA) and promised for faster downloading speed in crowded areas. It has Quick Charge 4+ technology feature included in the chipset that will allow you to charge Snapdragon 710 powered smartphone up to 50% in just 15 minutes. There are some features too, `including Qualcomm’s Aqstic Audio and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset faster 25% than SD 660 Soc. It is designed for consuming less power while playing games and videos. It also opens apps 15% faster compared to Snapdragon 660.

Now the company officially announced the Snapdragon 710 chipset. It is available for phones manufacturers to be powered their upcoming phones, starting in the current quarter. There are speculations that two of the XIaomi upcoming smartphones expected to come with Snapdragon 710 on board.
