ONGC Men and Kerala Women extend their win streak on Day-3 at the 32nd Federation Cup in Chittoor

Bengaluru, 2nd May 2018: The 32nd Federation Cup is going on at the District Sports Authority in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh on 1st May. The best club/state teams from the top 8 states in both the Men’s and Women’s category with addition of the hosts Andhra Pradesh are participating in this 6 day long tournament.  The championship is being organised by the Basketball Association in Andhra Pradesh under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India.
Kerala Women’s team are on a 3-0 run in the tournament so far, they have shown some great team basketball with all of their players contributing equally in all the games. Veteran International Forward Jeena Scaria showed her scoring excellence and scored 21 points whereas her fellow Indian teammate Anjana PG scored 10 points in 60-41 victory over the defending champions Chhattisgarh. In the men’s section defending champion ONGC team continued their winning streak after an excellent 20 point performance by the current Indian team captain Yadwinder Singh in an easy 62-34 victory over the Central Customs and Excise team from Cochin.
