Houston Rockets displayed another excellent offensive masterpiece after another dominant third quarter which led them to a 122- 104 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves and thus winning the series at the first round of the NBA 2017-18 Playoffs.
Houston eliminated the Timberwolves in five games on Wednesday night and finally started to look like the number one seed in the West we had been accustomed to seeing all season long.
If you want to see a balanced scoring attack, just check this one out:
Clint Capela: 26 points
James Harden: 22 points
Eric Gordon: 19 points
Trevor Ariza: 16 points
P.J. Tucker: 15 points
And aside from all of that, don’t forget Chris Paul who had 12 points and 9 assists of his own.
Minnesota looked promising with the young starting lineup and an experienced bench with Derrick Rose and Jamal Crawford but we can very well say that it was no match for the dominating duo of two of the smartest basketball players i.e. Chris Paul and James Harden. Not just Paul and Harden but the overall Rockets team has displayed impressive scoring abilities throughout the season. The Timberwolves put up a valiant fight in this war against the Rockets but Houston is just too good to be matched this early. Now they’ll wait to see if they play OKC or Utah.
