Kanika works for elephant conservation

Bollywood’s popular voice Kanika Kapoor who shot to fame with song ‘Baby Doll’ is also an ardent animal lover and supports various animal welfare activities.
The Lucknow girl has now been invited for the special ‘Elephant Family Charity Dinner’, an initiative by ‘Elephant Family’ that works for the welfare of elephants across the country.
The latter is a small dynamic NGO which was started by (Late.) Mark Shand, a British travel writer who was actively involved in the conservation of the Asian elephant.

And, post his death, sister Camilla, also wife of Prince Charles, took over the charitable cause to save a forgotten species from extinction. Earlier, the singer has been an ambassador for the British Asian Trust.
Interestingly, on the work end Kanika recently performed at the Buckingham Palace in the presence of Prince Charles and Cornwall Camilla.

On the B-town end, Kapoor is quite in news for her latest ‘Aaja Soniye’ from recently released ‘Baa Baaa Black Sheep’.
