Being the capital of Kerala, this city contains impressions of all its historical milestones. However, the most unmissable of all its tourist attractions is the Padmanabha Swamy Temple that is renowned for its architectural design and religious relevance. With its mix of Dravidian and Keralite infrastructure, it is believed to be the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu and a perfect destination for art lovers who delight in appreciating ancient stone carvings and mural paintings.
