As per the latest update, Ola has announced the appointment of Ben Legg as a Manager Director of its UK branch. As per the announcement, this comes as a big news after the news of Ola getting permission to operate in the UK. In the announcement, Ola officials mentioned that Ben Legg will not only lead the team but will also be responsible for developing the senior leadership team. Included in the roles of Ben Legg is to figure out the perfect strategy for the operation of Ola Cabs in the UK.
In the announcement of his appointment, officials also stated that he is one of the capable people who can establish the nationwide presence of Ola by the end of 2018.
This is the next best news after Ola announced that they have managed to get the license to operate in the regions of United Kingdon. According to the media sources, the Indian Cab Giants have managed to acquire the licenses to operate in Greater Manchester, and South Wales in the UK.
The news headline has also popped up the launch of Ola’s operation in Wales by next week. It seems like Ola is all set to compete with Uber on the roads of the UK.

As per the reports, Ben Legg earlier was working in Adparlor, New York as a CEO for two years. Adparlor is the global marketing technology company in New York. Before Adparlor, he worked as a Group CEO of Adknowledge, the digital advertising technology firm between the time period of 2011 and 2016. Well! That is not all, he also worked as a Cheif Operating Officer for Google, Europe back in his career. Not enough? Well! He also has served as a senior official at Coca-Cola and Mckinsey.
